So first the best news is that my laptop is back in commission and we have forgiven each other based on the condition that is behaves for 4 more years.
Classes are pretty awesome so far. I like most of my classes and love the two classes that are related to my degrees (good sign, right?!?). I only hate one class, Meteorology. I am just taking it for a science credit but the class is ridiculous. Its team taught, and both the professors are awful and should never be allowed to teach. They both need to go back to their corn fields and get lost in them. I've already begun slacking a little though, and its not a good thing. So while I wait up til like 1 for my laundry to finish I should catch back up instead of writing this, but oh well! Whats one more day in the whole?
I started a new job now too and love it! I work as a designer at the Iowa State Daily, so I lay the pages out after the reporters have written their articles. It's really neat to open the paper, and be like I laid that page out. The experience is awesome, and I really think it solidifies that journalism is right for me!
